Welcome

My name is Jeanie O’Boyle.  I am the Learning Disabilities Specialist/Case Manager assigned to the Cyclone team.  I have worked at Londonderry Middle School for the past 16 years, 14 of which were spent in sixth grade.  With the restructuring of special education services and the implementation of the looping model, I have completed a three-year loop with a group of students that transitioned to Londonderry High School.  I am delighted to be moving to seventh grade, and then to grade 8 and transitioning the students to Londonderry High School in the year 2018.

With the district's plan for all students to be college and career ready by the end of grade 12, we will be developing independent skills, fostering creative thinking, and teaching students that learning is a process with goal setting and perseverance.  After having completed a three-year loop, I feel I have a good understanding of the skills needed for success at the high school level.

In my role as case manager/learning disabilities specialist, I will be assisting students in classes, collaborating with teachers in the writing of educational plans, administering academic assessments and sharing information, as well as ensuring the IEPs are implemented.    I can be reached via email at joboyle@londonderry.org  or via telephone at 432-6925 x3185 should you have any questions or concerns.
